The Commissioners of Public Works of the City of Spartanburg, SC, who govern the Spartanburg Water System (SWS), are elected every six years.
Spartanburg Sanitary Sewer District (SSSD) Commissioners are elected every four years. The Mayor of Spartanburg serves on the SSSD Commission.
